We offer a wide range of multi-disciplinary assessments depending on the specific needs of the child or young person. Evaluations may be required to;
Enable the child or young person to fulfil their basic needs in order to keep them safe and happy; eating, sleeping, drinking.
Enable the child or young person to develop loving and healthy relationships with their family
Enable the child or young person to fully engage in academic learning opportunities.
Enable the child or young person to develop skills for socialisation and making friends.
Enable the child or young person to develop functional skills to help them engage in the world around them and to develop the highest level of independence and autonomy.
Fundamentally, we want every individual to be able to participate and engage in the occupations that are meaningful to them; for their self-care, their leisure, and their productivity and learning opportunities.
Our assessments may be carried out by a member of our Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and/ or Physiotherapy team members, in accordance with the specific needs identified in the pre-assessment information gathering phase.
This multi-disciplinary approach ensures that a holistic perspective can be achieved for the individual being assessed, increasing the integrity of recommendations provided.
